Perfect Little Gift Bag!

I have been making all sorts of variations of this cute little gift bag from my Close To My Heart Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge: 

This bag in particular I made while at a retreat with my sweet and creative friends Christine and Alicia (Skinny Tree Retreats – check them out!  They are AMAZING!!).  Christine designed this little cutie for all of the attendees to create.

I made a Halloween version and stuffed it with Ghirardelli chocolates for the kids teachers this past Fall…  and last night I created several to tuck lip gloss and activity books into for my daughters besties (I didn’t snap pictures – I was in a hurry to deliver them this morning!).  I’m having a great time creating all sorts of different varieties to suit my needs!  I’m tellin’ ya…  the Art Philosophy cartridge is my go to lately!  I leave it in my Cricut because I know I’m going to use it again.   

I hope you are having a wonderful day today!  I’m enjoying my children being home from school for Christmas break…  hot cocoa and Christmas movies in our pj’s is a perfect day in my opinion.

Thanksgiving Place Cards

Happy Thanksgiving!!  I hope you are enjoying some yummy turkey and all the fabulous fixin’s.  I am one very blessed woman to have a husband who loves to cook…  he aspires to be a chef!  Jason always prepares our Thanksgiving feast and does an absolutely phenomenal job.  I can hardly wait to dig into all those delicious favorites that only come around once a a year!

I made these cute little place cards to set by each guests table setting. 

(I apologize for the cruddy pictures!  I had to take them indoors because we are socked in with rain and clouds.  I had to make do with my flash…  yuck! They are much cuter in real life! )

I got this idea from the Fiskars website – pinned it a few weeks ago to Pinterest.  I pulled together my Elemental paper packet with a little Goldrush, Chocolate, Olive, and Colonial White Card Stock.  I grabbed the Small Friendship Alphabet, which fit nicely on the card, and some Chocolate ink.  Thanks to my Art Philosophy Cartridge, in just a few hours I had my cute little place cards!  I love it when I “Pin” something and then actually make it!

I had all of the cards finished when my daughter reminded me that her new American Girl doll would be joining us for her very first Thanksgiving.  I couldn’t resist whipping up a little something for McKenzie.

I plan to place a note on the inside of each place card telling my guest why I am thankful for them.  Should be fun and memorable!

Harvest Memories and Have A Splendid Day!

I am busy preparing for Thanksgiving around here.  How about you?  I have a few Autumn/Harvest themed projects to share with you today! 

 

 

I recreated the darling card on page 66 of the Autumn/Winter Idea Book using the So Grateful Stamp Set (B1395) in Autumn Terracotta (Z2101), Sunset (Z2191), and Olive (Z2135) Close To My Heart inks, a little Natural Twill and a few cute brads and a ribbon slide from the Olive Mini Medley (Z1489). 

 

I absolutely adore this pumpkin!  So beautiful with the script letters stamped over the base…  and the base is cute as can be all on its own!

 

 

 

 

Then…  I headed over to my Cricut to make this little cutie.

 

 

I used the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge to cut a Fry Box and the scalloped oval for my sentiment.  I just love these little boxes!!  So many possibilities and creative uses. 

I stamped the sentiment using the Harvest Happiness Stamp Set (C1463) in Autumn Terracotta CTMH ink, and the flourish in Olive. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

See all those red lines?!?  Lots of Art Philosophy shapes coordinate with this stamp set!  And it is just perfect for the Autumn season.
